Shernita Jefferson - National Dean of Pledges

Shernita is a loving wife, devoted mother, grandmother and a proud godmother. My personal life is deeply rooted in family values, faith, and a passion for uplifting others. In addition to my family, I dedicate my time to community building and empowering women and girls. I founded two impactful groups: Mature Young Ladies, a group designed to mentor and inspire young girls, and Positive Women Working Together, a women’s group focused on collaboration, support, and growth. These initiatives aim to create safe spaces for connection, learning, and empowerment.

Shernita is particularly passionate about feeding the homeless, as I once experienced homelessness and lived on the streets. This personal journey has fueled my commitment to giving back to the community and offering hope to those in need. Whether through mentorship, outreach programs, or acts of service, I work to make a positive difference in the lives of others.
